Hello.
My name is Daniel Troutman. My wife Clare, my 3 kids and I run Troutman Photography. I’ve been a professional photographer for the last 12 years and in that time I’ve had the pleasure of creating images for a wide range of clients.
My first professional photography position was as a travel photographer providing images used by Homes.com, Yahoo!, Del Webb, Full Sail Brewing, and many more. It was a great way to see the country and meet new people.
After starting a family I shifted my focus (no pun!) to photographing my children and eventually everyone else’s. I began to understand what it meant to be a family and how to translate that into a photograph.

In my free time I photograph food for local businesses and fellow “foodies”. Next to photography, cooking has become my favorite pastime and I enjoy combining the two. I market my pictures of food worldwide through stock photography agencies. My images have appeared internationally in textbooks and magazines like as Newsweek.
I currently live in the pleasantly hidden community of Jefferson Oregon where I run our portrait studio. I also serve as the town’s unofficial photographer; capturing images for the city website, charity events and the annual Mint Festival. My wife and I are members of the chamber of commerce and sincerely enjoy networking in our little corner of the world.
