It’s been a long time coming

Well, we have certainly run into our fair share of setbacks.  It turned out that the building was supposed to have been attached to the city sewer lines back in the ’60s – but wasn’t.  That pushed back the bathroom a couple of days.  Also, there has been some confusion about permits – cost us another day (so far).  The electric wasn’t ready for us – another 2 plus days.  However, most of the painting is done, we SCORED on our light fixtures ($5 each!) Daniel washed the floor 5 times, and oiled it twice, the wall is built and – most importantly and difficult – the backdrop is hung.  It took four adults and multiple tries – but it’s UP!
