Bad Photography Clients This week I had the absolute worst family in my studio.  This group has been using me as a photographer for many years and I simply hate working with them.  The kids don’t listen to me and they break my equipment.  The mother always has a better idea of how to take the picture than I do and the father is prone to losing his cool.  The family I’m talking about is my own.   Ask any portrait photographer and they will all tell you that putting spoons in their eyes would be more fun than doing their own family portrait.  I’ve posed large families, small families, families with lots of kids, families with pets and even posed house cats.  But if I ask my 13 year old to turn her nose towards the light all hell breaks loose.  I can ask a family of 5 to create a human pyramid and get the shot.  But asking my own family to simply sit on a stool is somehow above and beyond.  Bitter?
