Those of you who read my blog regularly know that I sell stock photography internationally through istockphoto.com.   Sometimes I need models for my stock photography and I use my kids.  Well I just received an email today from someone in South America who just happened to see a picture of my son in a store window.  I’m not sure what is more flattering…the fact that my image was used in a window display or the fact that a passerby recognized the photo as part of my portfolio.   I said it before… what you lose in selling your photos at a smaller price, you gain in exposure.  Micro stock agencies are a great opportunity for anyone who has ever dreamed of being a photographer.  For more information about shooting micro-stock photography  you can check out one of my past blogs.
