The studio will open up at 10am Halloween morning – and for two cans of food per child – will provide you with a FREE professional portrait of your child in their Halloween costume. We hoping to raise 500lbs of food for this very worthy cause – almost 25,000 people are fed through the Marion Polk program EACH MONTH. For Immediate Release Troutman Photography at Café Noir What’s better than really good coffee? Great art with wonderful coffee. When you walk in the door at Café Noir the scent of fresh roasted coffee beans soothes your caffeine deprived brain. While standing in line your attention is captivated by nearby images. The pear seems so crisp, you can almost taste it. The strawberries in the print nearby appear fresh on the page and beg for chocolate. Further along the wall, a child smiles angelically from beneath the floppy ears of a dog costume. Each day in April patrons of the coffee shop at 610 Marion St. N.E. are invited to peruse the photos of local photographer Daniel Troutman as they munch on crispy salads, freshly made sandwiches and sip from bowls of fragrant soup. Cafe Noir owners Marlee Newton and Brionna Brouhard support local artists and welcome monthly art and photography shows. “We are happy to have our cafe be a backdrop for local talent,” adds Brouhard.
